ONIC is Not a New Mobile Operator PTA Clarifies
On Friday, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced that no new mobile operator has been granted a mobile cellular license in order to provide mobile services in the country of Pakistan.
In an official statement, the authorities clarified a common misconception among the general public and social media users regarding ONIC, a new mobile services provider entering the Pakistani market. The aim is to ensure better word choice, structure, readability, and eloquence while retaining the original meaning.
According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML), which already owns the Ufone brand, has plans to launch another new digital product called ONIC. This would be done in order to cater to the digital section of the market, which prefers convenient digital interaction over traditional service delivery for high-end users.
According to a recent statement by the PTA, they have been in ongoing discussions with PTML regarding the launch of ONIC. The PTA has strongly advised PTML to meet all necessary regulatory standards, as part of their commitment to ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding consumers.
This call for compliance demonstrates the PTA’s dedication to fulfilling its regulatory responsibilities effectively.
