NUST University Ph.D. and MS Admissions Latest 2024
The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has announced admissions for the Ph.D. and MS Programs for the year 2024 through a daily publication. Requirements for Ph.D. Program Eligibility
The applicant must have completed 18 years of education in a relevant field, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0 (in the Semester System), or First Division (in the Annual System) in M.Phil/MS/Equivalent, including research work.
The candidate must have fulfilled either of the following requirements:
- Completed at least 30 credit hours of coursework or completed 24 credit hours of coursework along with 6 credit hours of thesis or research work.
- Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for the Graduate – NUST Entrance Test (G-NET) administered by NUST, Pakistan.
- The minimum required overall score is 60%.
- The NTS GAT (General) Test is required for admission to PhD programs. A minimum score of 60% is necessary to be considered valid.
- The GRE (General) examination is administered by ETS, USA, and requires a minimum score to be achieved in each section.
- The user’s scores are as follows: Quantitative (130/170), Verbal (130/170), and Analytical Writing (3/6.0). Additionally, it is required that the user’s MS/MPhil/Equivalent degree be verified by HEC.
- The G-NET/GRE/GAT/HAT score must be valid at the beginning of the semester or joining date of Ph.D. programs.
- The percentage will only be considered valid if the degree/transcript does not include the CGPA.

Online applications for admission can be submitted through the NUST website starting from 31 March 2024. Online applications can be filed using the website www.nust.edu.pk/admissions/phd.The deadline for admission is May 10, 2024. The commencement of classes is scheduled for September 9, 2024.
