Dr Sania Nishtar, Senator and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Security, made the statement while speaking before the Senate Session on June 18, 2021. According to the latest available information, Dr Sania Nishtar stated that the current phase of the Ehsaas Kafalat Program 2021 would be finished by September 2021.

Furthermore, the SAPM stated that Ehsaas One Window Centers would be established in all districts to deliver all Ehsaas Program services under a single roof for the convenience of beneficiaries rather than in separate buildings.

According to SAPM Dr Sania Nishtar, the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program would award scholarships to 60,000 students every year for the next two years based on merit.

With the help of the Sehat Sahulat Program, the Ehsas Tahafuz Program, which has been functioning on a pilot basis, will be implemented entirely. People who do not have Sehat Sahulat Cards or are admitted to hospitals that are not covered by the programme will also be able to SMS Ehsaas Tahafuz Program, a new feature introduced in 2018.

Furthermore, the Ehsaas Interest-Free Loan Program is being expanded to 28 additional districts, after which it will be available in 138 communities across Pakistan, according to the program’s website.
