How to get mobile phones registered with PTA for free of cost
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) recently shared details regarding the registration of mobile phones without incurring service charges or taxes.
The authority announced its process via its Facebook page and stated that people can easily register their devices through PTA.
PTA stated in their announcement that no service charges would be assessed to customers; they must cover taxes imposed through the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
PTA Now Supporting Free Mobile Registration
There are three methods for connecting mobile phones using PTA, providing free registration services.
1 The online option provides users with access to register their device by going directly to http://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/drs
2. Users can dial *8484# from their mobile phones to complete registration by following these steps.
3 Customers seeking registration at their mobile phone operator’s offices must make payments of Rs100 in service charges for registration and service use charges.
