Official Message from Maduka University Management Regarding Nursing Admission

The administration of Maduka University Enugu has been alerted to deceptive and fraudulent articles about the institution that have appeared on several news websites concerning enrollment and tuition payments.

Under the headline, “Maduka University Enugu Scams Over 400+ Nursing Students ₦800,000 Each Without Offering Them Admission,” the malicious and false publication first appeared on www.thepressng.com and was syndicated on other blogs. It claimed that over 400 nursing students were turned away for admission even though they had paid their fees.

The narrative is entirely untrue and deceptive, and it ought to be ignored.

We, the Maduka University administration, want to make things clear and flatly deny these erroneous allegations.

First and foremost, it’s crucial to clarify that students at Maduka University Enugu are only obliged to pay tuition once they’ve been accepted into their chosen degrees.

It is not acceptable for us as an institution to take payments from potential students before granting them admission.

The false claims in the widely disseminated report are untrue; Maduka University has an open admissions policy, and classes, including nursing and other departments, are still in session.

We want to be clear that the claims that we have collected payments from more than 400 nursing students without actually providing them admission are completely untrue and unfounded.

Anyone making such claims is challenged to show proof of payment without also being admitted to our university.

We invite examination and confirmation of our records as a responsible organization dedicated to openness and responsibility to refute these baseless charges.

Maduka University is unwavering in its commitment to delivering a top-notch education while maintaining the highest standards of morality and ethics.

Any claim that goes against our strong commitment to the success and well-being of our students is unfounded and deceptive.

The admissions policy of Maduka University Enugu is reaffirmed for the upcoming academic year.

On February 23, 2024, all of our pioneer students will have their graduation ceremony for the class of 2023–2024.

We cordially encourage applicants taking part in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) this year to give Maduka University serious consideration as their preferred university.

While the publication is being reviewed by our legal team, appropriate legal action will be taken against the authors of the damaging narrative.

We call on the public to reject the misleading information that is circulating and reiterate our steadfast commitment to providing high-quality education and creating an atmosphere that supports learning and personal growth.
We advise the general public, potential students, and parents not to give money to unapproved people.
